The Psychomotor Therapist records the level of development of children of nursery and school age in the areas mentioned under
“target group”. She runs a complex assessment procedure, observing the child during directed and independent play and movement situations. Exploratory discussions with significant people in the child`s life (parents, teacher) are also held.
In the end the Therapist explains her observations to the child`s parents and teachers. Together they discuss and establish goals to work on. Especially teenagers are highly involved in this dicussion since there is no progress possible if they don`t want to face what they need to work on.
